VININGS VILLAGE WOMAN’S CLUB
2009-2010
The V inings Village Woman's Club was launched by eight ladies in 1978. They met at the Pace House and described their purpose as being "the expansion of opportunities for friendship, the support of civic and cultural activities, and the beautification and preservation of Vinings Village".
Thirty-one years later, with untiring leaders and dedicated members, we are still making a difference in Vinings. VVWC erected the signs that greet you as you enter Vinings and the charming street signs that dot the sides of our roadways. We have been the largest donor to the Vinings Historic Preservation Society and have supported Teasley Elementary School, the Vinings Library and the Vinings Fire Station.
We also fund the maintenance of the landscaping and the beautiful flower beds on Paces Ferry. We are proud of our years of great accomplishments and the impact we have made in Vinings!
The Vinings Village Woman 's Club has supported, we have beautified and we have preserved. We are thrilled to welcome you as a member and have fantastic programs for everyone.
